Description: Divert funds received Children's Division received by the division for various private and federal programs for children under custody of the division, such as foster care, be allocated for the child rather than the state covering services for the child. Legislative staff estimate that could cost the state up to $6.6 million to cover costs for care of those children already provided by non-state funds.
