Alysha Love

 
Alysha is the statehouse editor for the Missouri Press Association, under the watch of Phill Brooks. She began working at the Capitol as a print reporter for Missouri Digital News and the Columbia Missourian in August 2010. During the fall, she covered the mid-term elections, health and pre-session news. 

Previously, Alysha covered the 2010 primary elections for the Columbia Missourian, with an emphasis on the contested judicial and state House representative races. In 2009, she interned at the St. Louis Business Journal, coordinating its 5th Annual Women's Conference. She also interned at WeissWrite, a St. Louis writing, training and editing company. There, she wrote and publicized for the St. Louis Beacon, edited applications for Fortune's 100 Best Places to Work For and wrote stories for clients.

Alysha grew up in Springfield, Mo. and moved to Columbia in 2008 to attend MU. She is majoring in journalism and psychology and minoring in Spanish, political science and multicultural studies.
