Wrap: For 12 years, Michael Wolff has served Missouri as a Supreme Court justice.

But on Wednesday, the St. Louis-based attorney said he would not return to the post next fall.

He said he will take a job as a law professor at St. Louis University.

Wolff previously taught at SLU until 1998, when he took the job as a Missouri justice.

Before then, he held positions advising former Governor Mel Carnahan and was a candidate for Missouri attorney general.

Wolff has refused any interviewswith the press until he is closer to the end of his time as a justice.
