Wrap: Mark McGwire Highway is almost no more.

House members voted Thursday to rename the section of Interstate seventy "Mark Twain Highway."

The highway was at one point known as the Mark Twain Expressway.

The bill now goes to Governor Jay Nixon for his signature.

McGwire found his name on the stretch of I-70 following his 1998 season when he shattered the single season home run record.

The current Cardinals hitting coach admitted to using steroids in January.

Wrap: The former slugger and current Cardinals hitting coach may still have his records, but the Missouri House finalized renaming the stretch that bears his name on Interstate-seventy.

It was renamed Mark McGwire Highway following his 70 homerun 1998 season.

If Governor Jay Nixon puts his pen to paper, then it will be renamed "Mark Twain Highway."

McGwire admitted to using steroids during his playing days back in January.
