Wrap: Missouri GOP Executive Director Lloyd Smith said Nixon's Chief of Staff John Watson, along with Policy Advisor Jeff Mazur and Communications Director Jack Cardetti should be permanently dismissed.

But Cardetti wouldn't answer why none of them have taken the fall.

His only response was that Watson answered that question in Wednesday's conference call, which happened before the GOP issued the statement.

Description: Cardetti: I haven't looked at that release yet, I'll have to take a look at it, but I'll get back to you.

Grimmett: But you just saw that your name is in it and you have nothing to say about that?

Cardetti: No, John Watson addressed those questions yesterday during that press conference.

And with that, he closed the door.

Republican Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder's top spokesperson said there are too many unanswered questions.

Wrap: After Governor Nixon dismissed DNR Director Mark Templeton, Missouri Republican Party Director Lloyd Smith called for Nixon to dismiss some of his own staff members.

Republican Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder's top spokesman Gary McElyea said there are too many unanswered questions revolving around the E. Coli issue.

Description: It seems the controversy continues to grow, and possibly even a cover-up within the Department of Natural Resources. And we're not sure how far that goes.

Nixon's Communications Director Jack Cardetti was among the names the GOP suggested for dismissal.

But Cardetti avoided any questions of whether there will be any action taken within Nixon's administration.

He only said Watson answered those questions in a media conference call Wednesday, which was before Missouri Republicans released the statement.
