If you don't pay back your student loans, you might lose your professional license.

Representative Craig Hosmer from Springfield has introduced legislation to make that possible for teachers, insurance agents and other licensed professionals.

Contents: Representative Hosmer says that it doesn't matter what your profession is, if you borrow money from the federal government you need to pay it back or else you will lose your license.

Hosmer says people in default of their student loans are denying other students the opportunity to get loans.

The bill is waiting to be sent to committee.
