Bill would allow Hispanics to gain drivers licenses without Social Security Number

A proposed bill allows illegal immigrants the right to drive.

Kansas City's Henry Rizzo proposed a bill that allows illegal immigrants in Missouri the oppurtunity to gain a driver's license.

As it stands now, Missouri residents need social security numbers to obtain a license. This bill could change that.

Tuesday was Hispanic Legislative Day in the capitol, but Governor Bob Holden refused to take a position on one of the biggest issues of the day.
