Senate considers Language Program funding

Senator Morris Westfall is introducing a bill that will help English as a second language students. Tiffany Ellis has the story from Jefferson City.

The bill will mean an additional $700 of state funding for each ESL student.

English assistance programs are already in most school districts, but the number of ESL students is growing rapidly.

Charles Cudney is the Monett school district superintendent.
