Senators are debating over the benefits of increasing the amount of time alcohol can be sold at resorts in several Lake of the Ozark counties.
A major worry among senators is that there will be an increase in drunk driving.
Sponsor of the bill, Sentor Mathewson, debated with Senator Caskey, saying that there is not a risk of an increase in the number of drunk drivers.
The bill is currently on the informal calendar with amendments pending.
