Missouri Senate Research division "uncertain environment" according to some Democratic Senators

State Capital Bureau This is Chris DuPree for Missouri Capital Caucus.

The Missouri Senate Research Division has lost half its staff in the past two months in what some Democratic Senators have agreed is an "uncertain environment."

Democrat Minority Leader Ed Quick is calling on President Pro-Tem Peter Kinder to step up to the plate and address this problem before the bill filing begins on December first.

Quick has not yet gotten his wish of Kinder stepping up to the plate, something Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell thinks should happen.
