St. Louis Salvation Army Helps at Home and Far Away

Organizations across Missouri have been helping disaster efforts in New York and Washington D.C. The Salvation Army of St. Louis is no exception. Rachel Busacker has the story from Jefferson City.

While New York is far away, the St. Louis Salvation Army is doing its part here. On Tuesday they provided food and drinks at Lambert Airport to restless travelers. In addition, they have established a phone line for St. Louis residents to contact family members in New York.

Major Robert Thomson said he has been impressed with the continued support of St. Louis residents during this tragedy.
