A decision Tuesday (of this week) by the state's utility-regulating commission may decide the fate of a legislative effort to oust the commission. Michelle Wirth has more from Jefferson City.

The public service commission is meeting Tuesday to pass rate increases for Kansas City similar to those proposed for St. Louis.

Democratic floor leader Ronnie DePasco says that he will introduce legislation to remove Public Service Commission members if they simply pass the increase but fail to hold a public vote.
