Missouri's Attorney General Jay Nixon announced in a press conference Wednesday that he would demand penalties from price-gouging gas stations.

Nixon says he has sent demand letters to 28 stations that dramatically raised their prices on or after September eleventh.

Nixon says he has received calls and e-mail complaints about fifty Missouri stations.

Nixon told the stations they must pay one-thousand-dollars in fines or face the possibility of a lawsuit.
