The governor says he doesn't like the Senate's redistricting map

Governor Bob Holden doesn't like the Senate's Congressional redistricting plan that would likely knock Dick Gephardt out of office.

Holden said he doesn't think the Senate version of the redistricting map represents the best interests of St. Louis voters.

He says the plan to move Gephardt's district completely out of St. Louis city doesn't make sense.

The redistricting map is facing fierce opposition by Senate Democrats, who are leading a filibuster to get the map changed.
