No Call List Will Not Change

A House of Representatives interim committee rejected recommendations for changes to the No Call list. Julie Kroenig has the story in Jefferson City.

The majority of the committee decided that they will propose only a few changes to the legislation.

The chair of the committee, Democrat Ralph Monaco, says they don't want to mess with a good thing right now.

The committee recommended changes to give greater fines to exempt companies for violating the laws.

Democrat Rick Johnson thinks that no one should be exempted from the no call list.
