Boeing job cuts will not affect St. Louis employees

I'm Richard Jordan reporting from Jefferson City.

After the Boeing Corporation announced an anticipated 30 thousand layoff on Wednesday, many are wondering how this will effect employees at the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

It's good news for workers at the Boeing Military facility in St. Louis, with no layoffs expected at the airport.

The airplane manufacturing company will only cut jobs in the commerical industry, which leaves Lambert Airport out of the equation.
