Butterfly Ballots Banned?

Missouri's Secretary of State says he wants to ban a controversial kind of ballot. Karyn Dest reports from Jefferson City.

Secretary of State Matt Blunt released a report Monday containing 26 legislative recommendations. One of those recommendations? Get rid of the so-called "butterfly" ballot.

Contents: "So we're calling for the prohibition of the butterfly ballot except for cases where the local election authorities specifically seek and receive approval from this office to have a butterfly ballot."

Other recommendations include allowing touch-screen voting and urging Congress to make Veteran's Day coincide with Election Day.
