A House Committee on Domestic Violence held a press conference to express concerns about how Missouri is handling domestic abuse.

The committee members recently traveled around the state reviewing programs designed to aid victims. They also looked for ways to gather statistics that would help the state in solving Missouri's abuse problems.

Boone County Representative Vicky Riback says Missouri needs an effective public policy to record and track incedents of domestic violience.
