House Committee Debates Definition of "Spam Mail"

What constitutes "junk e-mail." A Missouri house committee is trying to define that very term. Kyle Elfrink has the story from Jefferson City.

Contents: JAIS SAYS THAT HARVESTING THOUSANDS OF E-MAIL ADDRESSES AND SENDING THOSE ADDRESSES UNSOLICITED INFORMATION IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL CONVERSATION WITH SAY, FAMILY MEMBERS.

The meeting closed without a clear definition of what is "spam" mail. Future discussions hope to solve that problem.
