Missouri's Equal Pay Act has split Republicans and Democrats.

Many Democrats say the hold up was due to disgruntled Republicans.

But Republican St. Louis County Representative David Levin says the bill was a good idea--the language was not.

FILL:Levin says the bill originally talked about equal pay for non-equal jobs.

An amendent has been added to change the meaning of the bill to equal pay for equal jobs.

The bill has about one month to pass in the House before the end of this session.
