Republicans are calling it a "scandal," but Democrats say it's fair game: Voters in St. Louis City may have legally been given an extra 45 minutes to mark their ballots, but questions remain about what really happened at city polling places. A circuit judge extended the voting period until 10 pm Election Night, but an appealate court overturned that decision before 8pm. Secretary of State Bekki Cook says it may be awhile before there are answers about the voting extension.

Contents: Cook says she really doesn't know what happened last night...or even where the election may be headed now.

Cook says one of the biggest challenges in determining what actually happened at city polling places on Election Night is that there are over 700 precincts in the city of St. Louis, and few were notified of the court decisions at the same time. It remains unknown as to how many votes were cast between 7 and 8 pm on Election Night.
