Grant will lower pre-school costs for Missouri parents.

State money is headed to almost a dozen St. Louis area schools to give toddlers a head start on education. Karyn Dest reports from Jefferson City.

Parkway is one of eighty-four school districts in the state to receive the grant. The money will lower tuition costs for parents.

Parkway Director of Early Childhood Education Pat Teich says the program benefits kids.
