Daycare Debate Continues in the House

The debate on daycare continues in the House of Representatives. Adrienne Huth has the story from Jefferson City.

If Representative Mary Bland of Kansas City has her way, the bill will give a 10% tax credit to all employers who provide daycare.

"Well it will help to encourage businesses and corporations to provide daycare in their facilities or in close proximity of their facilities. To my opinion, that helps the employer, employee and the parents."

Some representatives say more money could be given directly to parents for daycare or to stay-at-home parents from the tobacco settlement. Reporting from the capital, I'm Adrienne Huth.
