Missouri Approves Amendment 4

Missouri voters overwhelmingly approved the amendment that would allow local school districts to seek voter approval for more bonds. Tristin Yeager reports from the state capitol.

Supporters of the bill stressed the issue of local control.

Missouri voters defeated a similar measure in August 1996.

Boone County Representative Tim Harlan says information made the difference.

Harlan says he thought both amendments would pass but he was surprised they passed by such a large margin.
