Danforth Supports Senate's Deseg Bill

William Danforth, the federal court appointed settlement coordinator for the desegregation case testified in support of the state Senate's desegregation bill. Tristin Yeager reports from the state capitol.

Danforth testified in front of the House Education Committee and said the bill addresses the two basic needs relating to desegregation.

Danforth said that without those two elements, a desegregation settlement would not be possible. The state Senate desegregation bill got a boost when William Danforth testified in support of the bill at a House Education Committee meeting. Tristin Yeager reports from the state capitol.
